September Sermon Series  – Covenant Faithfulness
So often we get so caught up in the various stories of the Old testament that we lose the big story of what God is actually doing. God’s plan to redeem and restore his entire creation can be traced through the covenants he makes with his people throughout the Old Testament. Covenants that culminate in the New Covenant made in and through Jesus. The word hesed in Hebrew means ‘enduring commitment’, ‘loyalty’, or, more specifically, ‘covenant faithfulness’. It is God’s covenant faithfulness to us, and to his plan of redemption and restoration, that is to be the source of our faith in him. In this series we will trace the grand narrative of just what it is that God is doing in our midst, and seek to join in.
