Did you know that you can give a gift that keeps on giving? Our Ozark UMC Permanent Endowment funds make that possible.

Earnings from gifts given to our endowment funds are being used for unbudgeted ministry needs and opportunities, while the money originally given remains as principal that is only used for investment. All endowment funds are invested with the Missouri United Methodist Foundation.

We have three funds that have served us since our endowment program was established:

General: for unbudgeted opportunities to add new ministries or enhance existing ones.

Property: for unbudgeted needs for church property.

Missions: for unbudgeted needs and opportunities to serve in community and world.

In past years, we have made grants for parking lot maintenance, to the Rainbow Network housing project, building and equipping of our present Ozark UMC facility, and more.

We suggest you consider designating one, or more, of our permanent endowment funds when making memorial gifts to the church. Your may also give a gift in honor of someone or simply as a legacy to our church. Gifts of $500, or more, receive a leaf on our “giving tree” located on the hall wall just beyond the entry doors to the Ozark UMC Worship Center.

If at any time you wish to make a contribution to one of our permanent endowment funds, please contact the church office at 417-581-6853. For more information about the Ozark UMC permanent endowment program please contact Jeremy Reese, Chairperson of Permanent Endowment Committee, at endowment@ozarkumc.org.
