Holy Week is a time for preparation. It is a time to remember and tell the story of Jesus, leading up to his death on a Roman cross, all in anticipation of celebrating his resurrection from the grave. Holy Week begins with our celebration of Palm Sunday, and is punctuated by our Holy Thursday and Good Friday services.
· Holy or Maundy Thursday is the service at which we celebrate the new command that Jesus gives to love one another. It is also where we celebrate the institution of the Lord’s Supper. On Holy Thursday, we will do just that, with the celebration of communion, and of the symbolic washing of feet. All are welcome to participate in the act of foot-washing (or hand washing), or you are welcome to simply observe if you so choose.
· Our Good Friday service will be a service of Tenebrae (darkness). We will tell the story of Jesus’ final moments leading to his crucifixion, and we will sit in the uncomfortable darkness of his death. This is symbolized by the stark nature of this service, and by departing in silence.

All of this leads to our joyful celebration of the empty tomb at Easter!
· Easter Sunday, April 17, we will celebrate at 8:30am & 10:30am in-person, with the 8:30am service being live-streamed, and then made available online thereafter for those unable to join us in-person.
