Ozark UMC is making connections with the unsheltered in the Ozark community. Last Saturday was the first cookout and supply handout for this group and for a group living in the American Inn. (the hotel does not supply bedding or towels to long term guests) The event was a success and we will have another cookout next month (May 11 @ 9 am at the American Inn lower parking lot)
There are supplies that are needed: toilet paper, sleeping bags, backpacks and mosquito/tick spray, easy to prepare foods and camping gear. You can drop of supplies at the church during the week or bring with you on Sunday.
A great big thank you to the congregation for your continued support for the project. You make it easy for our people to be the hands and feet of Christ!
