The Journey to the Cross Prayer Walk is an interactive prayer experience during Holy Week. After a brief orientation, participants will walk from room to room within the church. At each of the twelve stations on the walk, there will be items to focus on and read as you prayerfully reflect on the events of Jesus’ crucifixion in a unique and meaningful way. You should plan on spending at least 30 minutes engaged in the experience. In order to gain the most benefit from this activity, groups will be limited to four/five persons, with a new group starting every five minutes.
The church will be open for your convenience Wednesday through Friday (April 5-7). On Wednesday you may participate from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm. The church will serve a family dinner from 5:45 until 7:00 pm. You may choose to participate in the Prayer Walk either before or after eating. (You do not have to attend the Prayer Walk to enjoy the family dinner.) There will be a sign-up sheet for times to participate when you enter the building. There will be no adult studies on this evening. The church will also be open for your convenience on Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.
