July 2022 Sermon Series – Truth Thrown Alongside: Parables of Jesus
The Pharisees and others in power accused Jesus of evil and blasphemy. From then on, Jesus spoke to them in parables. Para = alongside. Ballo = thrown. A parable is a story with a context recognizable to the audience, but that also has a deeper truth thrown alongside. To get to the deeper truth of who Jesus is, what he teaches us, and who we are called to be, we are going to dig into some of the parable that Jesus taught. Join us through the month of July as we uncover the deeper truth of who we are to be in Christ Jesus.
