As we have done from the beginning of the pandemic, your church council has continued to follow the guidance of the CDC in regard to how we attempt to protect our church and community from the spread of COVID. On Friday, February 25th, the CDC updated its guidance regarding masking in indoor public places. Per the updated guidelines, the church council voted unanimously on Monday, February 28th to drop our indoor mask requirement, effective immediately.
While masks are no longer required at this time, please weigh your individual risk factors and comfort level. If you’re unsure whether or not you should continue to mask, consult with your physician. It is likely that some will continue to mask for various reasons. We expect that all who use our facility will be treated with grace regardless of their individual decision whether to wear a mask or not.
Your church council will continue to monitor public health and safety recommendations and adjust accordingly. It is our prayer that this brings all of us closer to the end of this pandemic.
