Join us for Ozark United Methodist’s Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 30th beginning at 5 pm. We will have games and activities, along with hayrides and S’Mores by the fire. The evening will conclude when the bonfire goes out!
Thank you to everyone who has donated candy and offered to help with Trunk or Treat this year! I know it’s going to be a fantastic event!
Things you need to know:
1. We can ALWAYS use more candy, feel free to drop it off at the church office any time this week, or just bring it to the event on Sunday.
2. If you are hosting a trunk, please arrive at church by 4:30 on Sunday. This will give us plenty of time to get cars parked and situated before the event begins.
3. Please review this map to see how we will be setting up. I also apologize if I missed anyone’s name on the list. I’ve had about 4 running lists for this event so it’s quite possible I didn’t get everyone transferred to the “main” list.
4. We still have room for more trunks! Even if you decide the day of that you just want to see the kids all cute, come on out! No need to decorate your trunk, just pass out candy and have fun!
5. Do you love to build bonfires? We need someone to man the fire for S’mores, and luckily with all the rain we’ve had this week we should be good at the fire pit! Please let me know if you’d like to help in this way.
6. I’ve had people ask what the backup plan was and I have just said “faith that it won’t rain during the event…” but IF it does, we will set up in the great room and trunk or treat from tables inside.
