Wednesday night connect will start back up on January 17th, with dinner at 5:45 pm and small groups beginning at 6:30 pm.  All Small groups include the Youth, the Sewing Ministry, and Pastor Jacob is leading a study.  See the information below about his class:

What does the world, and what do we as individuals, need more than a vision of hope?  Not just a hope for some unseen future, but hope for the here and now.  The story of scripture and the revelation of God in Jesus, far from being a story about fleeing this life for some vision of heaven beyond, is really a story of heaven coming down to earth.  This is our ultimate hope for the future, and the hope that shapes the way we live in the present.

Join us on Wednesday evenings throughout the Spring semester, starting January 17, as we dig into, Anglican priest and biblical scholar, N.T. Wright’s book, Surprised by Hope.  Wright provides a comprehensive and eye-opening vision both of the future and of God’s kingdom at hand today.  This is a study everyone that will help us to take our place in the grand scriptural narrative, and will allow us to grapple with the big questions regarding our role as Christians in the world today.

We will discuss options for purchasing the book and accompanying participants guide during our first meeting together.  Join us for this important and life-giving study!
