The word advent means ‘coming’ or ‘arrival’.  The Christian season of advent is a season of waiting and preparing for God’s arrival into our midst.  Advent is two-fold: it is a season of waiting and preparing to remember and celebrate Jesus’ first advent, but it is also a season of waiting and preparing for Jesus’ second advent, when he will return to redeem and restore all of creation.  We wait and prepare for Christ’s return in hope, peace, joy, and love.

Join us for our sermon series Behold! this Advent season, starting Sunday, November 29, as we wait, hope, and prepare to behold the glory of our God made flesh.
