The book of Genesis provides the foundation for our understanding of God and creation. It tells of God’s creative action to bring all things into being, of the goodness of what has been created, the brokenness of creation, and the beginnings of God’s plan to redeem and restore. Therefore, Genesis is so important for us to wrestle with and understand as we discern God’s presence and work in the world, and our role as those created in God’s image. This series will dig into some of the themes we find in the book of Genesis and will seek to lead us to a fuller knowledge of God, creation, and our role in what God has made.
